Richard Wright of Pink Floyd

The man who wrote “The Great Gig In The Sky” and “Us and Them” has passed. Pink Floyd’s Richard Wright is dead at 65 after a “short battle with cancer.” I suppose this is the final word on a Floyd reunion tour. God bless his family.

The world of comics lost a great one this week. Artist Mike Wieringo was best known for his work on The Flash, Spider-man and many other huge franchises. He was 44, a vegan and a health nut. Even so, he apparently died of heart failure. He was well liked and his influence will be missed. Above is the last sketch he posted on his blog before he passed.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I bring you this news. Bill Reiter (Billtheleprechaun) passed away last night due to complications from a seizure. Bill was my dear friend and brother and I will miss him more than words can say. The Reiter family appreciates all thoughts and prayers. Bill loved this community that Josh has built and always spoke of it as one of the few true bastions of real thought on the internet.
